Comments about the Chalfont St Giles email newsletter:
The Parish Church of Chalfont St. Giles is very grateful to the
excellent coverage we receive via the emailed Newsletter published at
very regular intervals. We are able to advertise our weekly services and
any forthcoming important events easily and speedily. Conversely, the
emailed newsletter is always received with great interest and provides a
superb network of communication throughout the village.

The email newsletter has proved an invaluable way of keeping up to
date with events in the village. It is lively, informative and
invariably offers a fresh insight into life in Chalfont St Giles.
I always read the Chalfont St Giles newsletter. It’s brief,
informative and makes sure I know what is happening locally.

Thank you for continuing to e-mail me the Chalfont St Giles
newsletter. In this day and age of diminishing newspaper coverage and
sales the e-newsletter provides a valuable source of information on
As a former community news correspondent for Chalfont St Giles I know how valued local news and information can be to the community. I wish you the very best in 2009 with its continued success. According to your latest edition I understand you are to launch new editions and hope these too will go well.

The Chalfont St Giles E- Newsletter is a fantastic quick, free and easy
way to communicate with people in the village as well as to learn about
what is going on in this great community.
Long may it continue.
resident, church member and small business we as a family find the St Giles
newsletter an invaluable source of local information and a great way to
communicate with fellow villagers.
I love the newsletter - it's pithy, unpredictable, always interesting,
and contains the occasional seasonal squib to make me laugh.
I think the newsletter is fantastic - so much so that I
haven't taken my subscription away even when I moved. It's great to keep
up with what is going on in CSG.
I lived in Chalfont St. Giles and went to school at Old Job's many years
ago. I have lost contact with all my acquaintances, and your newsletter
keeps me "up to date" on what is going on in the village. It makes me
feel connected in some very small way. Thank you for providing this

I love receiving the Chalfont st Giles Newsletter, and you never know
when it might pop up !!
It's a great communicator, involving you in Village life, keeping you
informed and bringing you local news items.
I have always found the CSG newsletter interesting and informative and
'something for the community'. I have recently moved to Gerrards
Cross from CSG so would like to see something similar for this area.
The newsletter is a great way of keeping in touch with what is going
on in the village and a good source for finding out about local events.
It gives me a sense of belonging to a local community.
You mentioned in your last newsletter that you were "spreading your
wings" into Amersham and surrounding areas. I just wanted to tell you
that I think this is a terrific idea - I have lived in Canada for the
past 40 years but visit Chalfont St Giles quite often and have really
enjoyed reading your newsletter over the past couple of years. It's a
very interesting e-mail that I think it will go down well in other areas
of Bucks and thank you for a job well done! Keep up the good work.

We have found the CSG email Newsletter to be very informative often
mentioning events not covered by other printed publications. The
Newsletter has the opportunity to make people aware of the, possibly,
more mundane goings-on which are very much of interest to the 'locals'.
I would like to say, as a resident of CSG, that I find the website
and the emails in particular very useful. The system is easy and
straightforward both for recipients and for those who wish to include
information. Excellent service!
